I went back upstate this weekend to New Paltz for the Midsummer Festival. The day was filled with lectures, but in the evening, we burned the Wicker Man and danced around the bonfire.

I spent the weekend at the Center for Symbolic Studies in New Paltz for the 2013 Beltane Festival. Every year the festival culminates in a huge bonfire, with everybody dancing around it until the early hours of the morning. Here are a few photos from this year's celebration.
