Twelfth Night
The remount of my production of Twelfth Night opened this week and we had a quick photocall this afternoon. Having worked in theatre all of my adult life, this is my favorite show that I’ve worked on, and certainly my favorite to direct. I just love spending time in Illyria, and I took this shot to capture the joy and musicality of this production.
Skype Rehearsal
I’ve been delayed in returning to Toronto and rehearsals start this week for Twelfth Night. What to do? Working with my Assistant Director and Stage Manager, we set-up a Skype rehearsal. Now, I can spend the Thanksgiving holiday with my family here in Colorado, while still conducting rehearsals in Toronto. The joys of technology!
Twelfth Night is Dora-Nomitated!
The production of Twelfth Night I directed in Toronto has been nominated for two Dora Awards - one for Outstanding Production and another for Best Ensemble. I’m really proud of this show and of the entire cast and crew who put it all together.
